There's a rich man who has 19 water buffaloes, and 3 children. Near death, he distributed the inheritance to his three children with a message to a 1/2 for first child, 1/4 for the second and fifth for the third child.
After his father died, his three sons shared their father's buffalo appropriate message. But they found the peculiarity, that each of them will get the buffalo are not intact. Each one will not budge and tried to get the parts intact.
There came news of their quarrel by a father who had a poor water buffaloes. Finally, the father met them, and are willing to voluntarily give his ox to each get a share of the piece.
The children agreed, and they began to divide. The first child gets 1/2 of 20 of 10 water buffaloes, the second son got 1/4 of 20 is 5 buffaloes, the third 1/5 of 20, 4 buffaloes. Thus each get a piece. And the total is 10 +5 +4 = 19 remainder 1 buffaloes, the father had returned.
