Courage to Admit the Mistakes

Once there was a 5 grade boy named Adi. Every day,he arrived at school early in the morning. Usually when it comes, not a single classmate who came.
One day, at rest, Adi surprised at lunch brought from home is reduced by half. "Who the hell was taking my lunch?" He thought to herself as she directs a suspicious look around the classroom.
After school, Adi told the incident to her mother. "You do not forget to prepare himself for me as much as two pieces of it?" Said Adi curious.
"Yeah, I remember once preparing your lunch two pieces, instead of a piece," his mother assured.
A week later, on returning to the classroom, accidentally, Adi was surprised to see the school guard to sneak into an empty classroom. He opened the bag and took a piece of Adi provision in the bag. He then hurried away to face looked depressed and moody.
After school, Adi told the incident to his mother.
"Mom, it turns out the thief the caretaker. What should I do? If I report to the homeroom teacher or principal, he must be punished, perhaps even expelled from school. Although he is a good man, but that was done wrong ".
With a smile she replied,
"Do not be reported first to the school. I knew well that the family caretaker. He was not a criminal. It must be because he was forced to take half yours. And was kind enough to leave half of it to you so that you do not starve. Tomorrow i will prepare lunch for more, two times more than usual. You give a pack to guard the school. Simply pass the course, no need to admonish or say anything to him. We'll see what his reaction, right? "
The next day, Adi met guards and handed over a packet of school supplies. Caretaker was surprised for a moment, his face pale and wonder. With shaking hands, receiving the package. His eyes looked glassy.
He stammered as he said,
"Thank you, thank you dear. I'm sorry to have to take a half share of your stock. I sincerely regret and haunted by guilt. I do out of necessity. My son is sick, but we have not enough money to buy food for my wife for the delivery cost. Please forgive me, kid. I promised not to repeat it. And thank you for not reporting me to the school so that I can still work. Convey apologies and my thanks to your mother. It was he a good and wise mother ".
As he nodded happily, Adi left guard school.
Mistakes, although for whatever reason, can not be justified. Recognizing, acknowledging mistakes and apologizing is a greatness of soul. And promised not to repeat is the highest wisdom.
