There are two seas in Palestine. Both are very different. This one is called the Sea of Galilee, which is a large lake with clear water and can drink.
Fish and humans to swim in the sea. The lake is also surrounded by green fields and gardens, many people set up home in the vicinity.
Another sea called the Dead Sea, and was in accordance with its name. Everything that was inside dead. The water is very salty so we can get sick if you drink it. A lake no fish and nothing is able to grow on its banks. There are also people who do not want to stay around, because the smell is not tasty.
So the interesting thing about it is that both the sea river flowing to both is a river. So, what makes it so different then? The difference is that one receives and the sea gives (Galilee), while others receive and keep the sea only (Dead Sea).
Jordan River flows into the Sea of Galilee, and flows out from the bottom of the lake. The use of lake water of the Jordan and then pass them on to another lake which also make use of it. Jordan then flows into the Dead Sea, but ill never get out again. Save the Dead Sea water of the Jordan for himself. That's what made him die: only receive and do not want to give.
