One day a young man went to a barber shop. While performing their duties, a barber who had been invited to serve youth chat. The barber said, "I do not believe God exists".

"Why do you say that?" snapped the consumer.

"Well, you just look ahead, on the streets ... to
realize that God does not exist.
Tell me, if God exist,
Are there people who are sick??,
Is there an abandoned child?
If God exists, there will be no pain or distress.
I can not imagine God the Merciful will
let it all happen. "

The youth still to think for a moment, but did not respond because
he did not want to start an argument.

The barber finished his job and boy has gone
leave the barber.

Some time after he left the room he saw there
people on the street with long hair, messy, dirty and very poorly maintained. The man looked dirty and unkempt.
The young man was to go back in the barber and said, "You know,
NO real barber. "

The barber did not agree, "Why do you talk so??".
"I'm here and I am a barber. And I just shave you!"

"No!" said in evasion of the consumer.
"Barbers do not exist, because if there is, there will be no one
with dirty long hair and dirty like people out there ", the consumer adds.

"Ah no, but there remains the barber!", Protested the barber.
"What you saw was one of their own, why
they do not come to me ", replied the barber defensively.

"Exactly!" said the young man agreed. "That's the main point!. Same with God, the LORD IS THERE TOO! But what happens ... people WILL NOT COME unto HIM, and NOT WANT TO FIND HIM. Therefore a lot of pain and distress in the world affected this. "

The barber was gawk!

Half Empty or Half Full

A nice story about the way of thinking about everything.

Somewhere, there is an illiterate man who worked as a custodian. Already more than twenty years he worked there. One day the school principal was replaced. The new school principal to apply the new rules. All workers are required to read and write. Because he can not meet these requirements then the guard who was forced illiterate can not work anymore. At first he was very sad to lose a job that has long elaborated. Besides, with his job as caretaker he can support his family despite all shortcomings. He did not dare to go straight home and told his wife. He walked slowly trace the street while trying to think what he should do to resolve the problem. Along the way he passed he saw a few rows of stalls. Although the stalls not too big but the buyers who come pretty. Suddenly the blue came the idea to open a stall on the street. He began with a very simple stall later because of persistence over time evolved into some wider stalls. Now he became a successful and wealthy businessman. One day, he went to the bank to open an account. Because of illiteracy, he can not fill out the form. Bank employees who helped him said: "Well, you who are illiterate can have this much money, especially if you can read and write, certainly richer" In a smile he said: "If I can read and write, I'd still be a caretaker until today".

In life there is always a definite problem. The severity of the problems we face tergantu from the standpoint of where we see it. For a glass half filled with water, we can choose to see it as a glass "half empty" or "half full"

Circle of Love at Christmas

A nice story by Jon, Kampala Uganda

My mother has told me and my sister Karin, that Christmas this year will be very simple, we only get a small prize and there will be no special celebration. Our father has just left us and we live far from relatives, away from friends, mothers do not have a steady income and we also do not have much hope for our future. However, every night I pray for miracles to happen.
On the night before Christmas, we heard a knock at the door, my mother and I went out to a small porch in front of our home. We saw two men with two large baskets filled with food and gifts. Mother's tears began to flow, tears of joy and maybe also a little sadness. He was flooded with disbelief. Karin and I am very glad I did not think we will get a prize so much. Apparently the two men are our neighbors, and although we did not know each other but they felt that we needed help and they want to do something to make us feel special Christmas. We accept food, sweets, dry kueh-kueh, toys and other gifts.
Now many years have passed, and I'm past the slums of Kampala, Uganda. I am here to help build schools. The rain had just stopped and the roads filled with mud dirty crimson. In the opposite direction I saw a woman walking, holding the limp-studded shoes to protect his shoes from the mud. I looked at his face and our eyes met. In an instant I know, I do not understand how I know but it has come just like that. And this is not just happen this time. I knew she was looking for a job and he needs the money to finance his family life. I paused and looked at him. He wore clothes bought from flea markets that sell clothing. And that's likely the best clothes he had.
I asked him, "You do not have transport money huh?" He nodded, "I do not have food for my children." I reached into his pocket and spend $ 50 and also give a dime for her ride public transportation. $ 50 enough money to buy food for her family for a month.
As I gave money to him, he cried and told me he was not supposed to receive the money, but he was forced, and he would pray for me. He said again, "This morning I prayed for a miracle, for a sign and by noon I met you."
After that we continued our journey respectively. He was glad to answer my prayer and reflect on what I just experienced, what we had just experienced. I realized that I had just taken part in a divine plan, a loop that goes on that allows miracles to continue. I used to receive His grace and blessings, now I am able to give.

Life is like a wheel that kept spinning. This allows us to feel every thing is different in our lives. Sadness and joy also suffering and happiness. The difference is the quality and quantity of each person experiencing it. We should always remember this so that when you're in a position 'above' us not forget our neighbor who was 'under'. "Keep doing good", said Mother Teresa of Calcutta, "although all opposed and ridiculed, but keep doing good". When we receive good treatment from others, continue to the other fellow, be sure not to goodness it stopped on us. We never know how important our kindness to others

Generosity In A Bowl Of Rice

A nice story about kindness will always be remembered.

All the way home this young eyes filled with tears touched, from that moment every afternoon this young man home stop eating them, as usual every day just to eat a bowl of rice and bring home a pack for lunch the next day. Twenty years later, the government sent a letter home to eat that they should be evicted. At that time entered a young man who wore designer clothes seem like a bona fide director from office. "How are you?, I was the deputy director of a company, I was ordered by the director we invite you to open the canteen in the company, our company has been providing everything you just need to bring chefs and expertise you get there, its profits will be divided into two by the company."

The husband and wife looked at each other in surprise. Before they ask, guests were talking again. "You are the helper and good friend of our director. Director we most like to eat eggs and beef jerky made by you, that's all I know. The others after you met him can ask more questions."
The couple then went to the director of the company was said by the guest. It turns out that only a young man eating a bowl of rice twenty years ago emerged. He has been a success now. He was successful at the moment is thanks to this couple, if they do not help him he might not be able to complete college and become as successful now. After the conversation, the husband and wife goodbye leaving office. This young man stood up from his chair and director with a deep bow said to them: "Be Eager! At a later date the company depends on you, see you tomorrow!" Reciprocation of kindness and forever in human life is an act of the most beautiful and touching.

My Mother Loved Me Too

A nice story about love of a mother.

My mom only had one eye. I hated her, she was such an embarrassment. My mom ran a small shop at a flea market. She collected little weeds and such to sell, anything for the money we needed she was such an embarrassment. There was this one day during elementary school. I remember that it was field day, and my mom came. I was so embarrassed. How could she do this to me? I threw her a hateful look and ran out. The next day at school..."Your mom only has one eye?!" and they taunted me.

I wished that my mom would just disappear from this world so I said to my mom, "Mom, why don't you have the other eye?! You're only going to make me a laughingstock. Why don't you just die?" My mom did not respond. I guess I felt a little bad, but at the same time, it felt good to think that I had said what I'd wanted to say all this time.

Maybe it was because my mom hadn't punished me, but I didn't think that I had hurt her feelings very badly.

That night...I woke up, and went to the kitchen to get a glass of water. My mom was crying there, so quietly, as if she was afraid that she might wake me. I took a look at her, and then turned away. Because of the thing I had said to her earlier, there was something pinching at me in the corner of my heart. Even so, I hated my mother who was crying out of her one eye. So I told myself that I would grow up and become successful, because I hated my one-eyed mom and our desperate poverty.

Then I studied really hard. I left my mother and came to Seoul and studied, and got accepted in the Seoul University with all the confidence I had. Then, I got married. I bought a house of my own. Then I had kids, too. Now I'm living happily as a successful man. I like it here because it's a place that doesn't remind me of my mom.

This happiness was getting bigger and bigger, when someone unexpected came to see me "What?! Who's this?!"... It was my mother...Still with her one eye. It felt as if the whole sky was falling apart on me. My little girl ran away, scared of my mom's eye.

And I asked her, "Who are you? I don't know you!!!" as if I tried to make that real. I screamed at her "How dare you come to my house and scare my daughter! Get out here now!" And to this, my mother quietly answered, "oh, I'm so sorry. I may have gotten the wrong address," and she disappeared. Thank good ness... she doesn't recognize me. I was quite relieved. I told myself that I wasn't going to care, or think about this for the rest of my life.

Then a wave of relief came upon me... one day, a letter regarding a school reunion came to my house. I lied to my wife saying that I was going on a business trip. After the reunion, I went down to the old shack, that I used to call a house...just out of curiosity there, I found my mother fallen on the cold ground. But I did not shed a single tear. She had a piece of paper in her hand.... it was a letter to me.

My Son,
I think my life has been long enough now. And... I won't visit Seoul anymore... but would it be too much to ask if I wanted you to come visit me once in a while? I miss you so much. And I was so glad when I heard you were coming for the reunion. But I decided not to go to the school.... For you... I'm sorry that I only have one eye, and I was an embarrassment for you.

You see, when you were very little, you got into an accident, and lost your eye. As a mother, I couldn't stand watching you having to grow up with only one eye... so I gave you mine... I was so proud of my son that was seeing a whole new world for me, in my place, with that eye. I was never upset at you for anything you did. The couple times that you were angry with me. I thought to myself, 'it's because he loves me.' I miss the times when you were still young around me.

I miss you so much. I love you. You mean the world to me. My world shattered! Then I cried for the person who lived for me. My Mother.

Today is December 22, commemorating the Indonesian people as a Mother's Day. Perhaps not everyone has pleasant memories and experiences with their mother. Whatever it is, today let us remember the moment of togetherness with our mother, whenever and wherever it is the hope of mothers given the health and well-being in life. And for mothers who have been in heaven, they will always be remembered forever ... at least for today ...This nice story is dedicated to all mothers God bless all mothers

A Smart Donkey

A nice story about intelligence in solving problems.

A farmer who lived in the area of South Sumatra Indonesia, has a donkey. Donkey is used as the sole means of daily transport. One day the mule fell into the well. The animal is very heartbreaking cry for hours while the farmer does not know what he should do to save the donkey. All efforts have been tried to lift the donkey out of the well, but to no avail. Finally, after discussions with his brother obtained the conclusion to just let the donkey in the well for the next stockpiled. The reason, the animal was old and not very useful anymore if it helped. On the other hand, the well itself is also actually the old well that is rarely used. Thus closed the wells with a donkey is the right decision. Farmers were then asked his neighbors to come help. They came with shovels, hoes, and other equipment and then began to pile up the soil into the well. At first, when the donkey realized what was happening, it cried because of fear and horror. But over time everyone is so amazed when the donkey became silent and did not scream anymore. After a few shovels of land began to be poured back into the well, the farmer is looking into the well and was astonished to see what the donkey. Although his back continuously overwritten by soil and dirt, the donkey was doing something amazing. The donkey shook his body in order to land that hit back fell down, then up the land. And so on, the farmer's neighbors continued to pour dirt onto the animal's back, the donkey kept shaking body and stepped up to near the mouth of the well. Inevitably, everyone is stunned when they saw the donkey jump over the edge of the wells and fled.

Donkeys are known as a dumb animal. Whether, when and where it originated, but almost everyone agrees and uses this animal to describe people that stupid . Although known as an stupid animal, when confronted with a difficult situation, a donkey in the story above can still think clearly and find ways save itselves. A donkey can do that. Especially people who have various advantages. When we initially got into trouble probably crying for fear and sadness. That is not something wrong. As long as we remember to get up and find a solution to get out of that problem. The problems that we encounter must be faced and solved, because all the problems that will mature us as real human beings.

An Angel Without Wings

The following nice story is a true story written by a doctor from the Hospital Metro Denver, USA:

At that time I was on my way home from an afternoon meeting at around 5. Road conditions are very busy and I am stuck in traffic on Colorado Boulevard. All of a sudden my car started stuttering and eventually quit. With great difficulty I could approach a gas station and relieved because I did not obstruct other road users and find a warm place to wait for a tow truck. Before I started calling, I saw a woman walking out of a minimart and she slipped on the icy road. The woman suddenly fell near a gas station. I rushed towards her to see if she was okay.
When I arrived there, seen that she was sobbing. In my view, more cries of grief rather than a fall. She was a young girl who looked so untidy with dark circles around his eyes. She dropped something when I helped her up, and I take for granted to her. It turns out one nickel coin. I then concluded: women crying, the old suburban filled with goods and three children in her car and pump the meter showed $ 4.95. I asked if everything is okay and if she needs help. She said: "I do not want my kids to see me cry!". Thus we stood away from her car the opposite pump. She told me that she was heading to California and the situation is very difficult for her at this time. I asked, 'Do you pray?' He retreated a bit, but I assure that I am not a lunatic and said, 'He heard you, and He sent me.'
I took my credit card and swipe the card reader of the pump so the car she could fill up. While gasoline was filled, I walk into McDonald's and bought two bags next to the great food, some vouchers for future use, and a large glass of coffee. She gives food to her son, who immediately grabbed like a starving wolf. We stood next to the pump while eating potatoes and talk a little bit. She told her name, told me that she lived in Kansas City. Boyfriend left her two months ago so she could not meet the needs of everyday life. She also knows that she will not be able to pay the rent in January. The objec despair she called her parents who never called by her for five years. They live in California and she finally agreed to stay with them until he could make money there. Finally, she packed all her things into the car belonging to the sole. She tells her children that they were going to California to celebrate Christmas, but do not tell that they would live there.
I noticed her hands was going to freeze, so I gave my gloves, providing small arms and recited a quick prayer with her so that he survived the journey. When I walked to my car, she asked, "Are you an angel or something like that?" I said, Mrs., the angels are very busy today, so sometimes God uses regular people.' Is deeply moving to be part of the miracle man. And it turns out, you have guessed, when I headed to my car, my car can directly distarter and I come home without any problems. I am going to the shop tomorrow to check, but I guess the technician will not get anything wrong.

Sometimes the angels fly very close to you so you can hear the vibration of its wings ...

Proud of Yourself

A nice story about feeling proud of what we have..

I'm not someone who likes to eavesdrop on conversations of others. But one night, when I passed through our home page, I was doing. My wife was talking to our youngest son as he sat on the kitchen floor. So I stopped to listen outside the back door. Looks like she heard some children boasted their father's work. That all great executives. Then they asked Bob, our son, "What kind your father has a great career?" Bob murmured softly, looking away, "He was just a worker"My wife is better to wait until they all leave, then call into our son. She said, "I wants to talk to you, kid" as she kissed his dimpled cheeks. "You said your daddy is only one worker, and what you said was true. But i doubt, do you know what that means exactly, so I'll explain to you. "

"The whole industry that makes our country great in all the shops and stalls and trucks that pull content every day .... Every time you see new houses built, remember, my son. Required an ordinary worker to complete the great work! ""If all the bosses leave their desks and off for a year. Wheels spinning industry is still able to walk quickly. If people like your father stopped working, the industry was unable to walk. Need an ordinary worker to complete the great work! "I held back tears and came in. My little son's eyes lit up joy as he jumped from the floor. He hugged me and said, "Daddy, I'm proud to be a child's father. Because Daddyis one of those special people who completed a big job. "

The story above encouraged me to express what I feel for this. My husband is not an office worker as a profession in general in the environment where I live. With a variety of considerations and also because of interest, my husband decided to become an Internet Marketer. Because this profession does not require my husband to leave home at a certain time, then in view of our neighbors is an unemployed husband. Initially disturbing but over time we ignore it and continue working. All men in this world have their respective roles, all of them useful. If we look from the other side of the work that we usually regard as lowly jobs as day laborers, scavengers, cleaning services, construction laborers, maids, domestic servants, public transportation drivers, rickshaw drivers, and so then we can see that they also have a role big in life. So let us assume the job - the job was as a lowly job, because we also need them, and all need each other as well as having important roles respectively.Let us be grateful for any of our work, and sincerely do our work best and are based on kindness to others.

Kindness

Mother Teresa of India tells the following nice story:

One day  a young couple from high caste Hindus came to our door and handed me a large amount of money to spend for the poor. In Calcutta we were cooking for 9000 people each day. The young couple expects their money used to buy food these people. Then I asked them, "Where did you get this much money?".

They replied, "Two days ago we got married. Before the wedding took place, we decided not to waste money to buy a fancy wedding dress, and also will not hold a wedding banquet. We want the money for it was given to the poor. "

For the high caste Hindus, do things like this is a big scandal. Companions and the relatives they can not imagine that wedding a couple of families who held without such famous gowns and wedding party lively.

Mother Teresa then asked them, "Why are you giving me all this money?"

And they gave this amazing answer, "We truly love each other so it was appropriate that we want to make a special sacrifice too early in our married life.

-Willi Hoffsuemmer-

In the community where I grew up until now, if a pair of lovers to be married, nominally and all their extended family will be very busy with the preparation that takes time, thought, effort and of course money. Everyone involved in the preparation of these include the prospective bridegroom, probably did not think to do extraordinary things like the bride in the story above. They were too busy with plans to enliven the party with the expectation will cause admiration to all the guests in attendance. Bride in the story above doing a truly good things. I hope their actions can inspire us to learn to be generous and share with others not only from excess but also from deficiencies that we have.

A Noble Heart

A nice story about Love

That morning the atmosphere in my house is not as usual. Begotten daughter who is usually cheerful, sat crying at the dinner table. In front there is a typical rice bowl of India (curd rice). Sindu is a sweet child and includes smart in the new age of 8 years. She really did not like to eat this rice curd. My mother and my wife are still old-fashioned. They believe that when eating curd rice will cause a "cooling effect". I was reading the newspaper near the dining table. My wife approached me and asked in a high tone, "how much longer will you read the newspaper? Can you help me persuade Sindu eat rice?" I put down the newspaper and approached the table. I picked up the rice bowl and said "My dear, for me, would you eat a few spoonfuls of curd rice this? If not, then your mother will yelling to me". I could feel my wife's scowl behind my back. Sindu's crying subsided and she was wiping her eyes with her hand, and said "I would be allowed to eat curd rice is not just a few tablespoons but everything going to be spent, but I'll ask ..." For a moment he hesitated. "I will ask something when I out of all the rice. Is the father willing to promise to meet my request? I replied "oh sure, dear". Sindu asked once again to convince her that I was serious, “it really dad”? "Yeah sure", I said, grasping her  hands are soft as a sign of approval. Sindu also urged his mother to take the same pledge. My wife said without emotion, "promises", said my wife. I'm a bit worried and said, "Honey, do not ask for something expensive, because I does not currently have any money". Sindu said with a smile at me "do not worry dad, I did not ask for expensive items". Sindu then slowly and seemed to suffer, begin to eat and spend all the rice in a bowl. In my heart I feel angry to my mother  and my wife because they forced  Sindu to  eat something that she did not like. After Sindu through her suffering, she approached me with eyes full of hope, and all the attention (I, my wife and also my mother) on her. She held my hand and begged, "Daddy, I want to shave my head". We were all there in the room eating when it sank.
In the culture of our nation (India) it is not something reasonable. That is something that is impossible to do. It is impossible. My mother grumbled and assess Sindu watching too much TV so the TV programs that are destroying our culture values in my daughter. I tried to persuade her. "Honey, get all the other things. We will all be sad to see you bald". But Sindu stick with her  choice and insisted that others do not want to ask. I tried begging her but she still did not budge. I melted when she said as she sobbed, "Dad, you saw how miserable I spent a rice milk was sour and you had promised to fulfill my request. Now, why you want to draw / lick your own spit? Did not you has taught a moral lesson, that we must fulfill our promises no matter what happens to a person like Harishchandra  king (an ancient Indian king) to fulfill his promise would have given the throne, wealth / power, even his own son's life ". I decided to fulfill my request. Simultaneously, my wife and my mom said "Are you crazy?" "No", I said "if we lick our own spit, she would never learn how to respect herself. Sindu, your wish will be fulfilled". She was shaving her head that day. With a bald head, round face appear Sind and nice big eyes. On Monday, I drove her  to school. I caught a glimpse bald Sindu walking to class and waved to me. Smiling, I waved back. Suddenly a boy came out of the car shouting, "Sindu please wait for me". What surprised me is it the boy's head was also bald. I think maybe bald is a trend nowadays . Without introducing herself , a woman out of the car and said, "your child, Sindu really great. The boy who walked with her right now is my son Harish. He suffered from leukemia cancer". The woman paused, sobbing cry. "Last month Harish absent from school. Because of Chemo therapy treatment head to be bald, so he did not want to go to school for fear of being ridiculed by his classmates. Last week Sindu came to my house and promised to my children to overcome the ridicule that might occur. I just really did not think that Sindu willing to sacrifice her beautiful hair for my son Harish. Mr and wife lord God has truly blessed the noble daughter. I stood and I cried, my little angel, please teach me about love.

The Rainbow

Many years ago in Scotland, there are a large family that has members - a father, a mother and 9 of the Child. The neighbors called them, Clark family.

Clark and the whole family has shared a very big dream, namely to travel to the United States. For the sake of realizing this, he and his wife worked and saved money.

After years of doing so, the money they provided for. Clark and the family finally get the passports and tickets as well ship to the United States. They were filled with excitement and waiting impatiently to experience life in an entirely new world.

However, seven days before departure, Clark's youngest son was bitten by a dog. Because of the possibility of rabies, the local government quarantining them a family for fourteen days.

This family dream vanished. They knew would not be able to travel to America as they had planned. The father, filled with disappointment and anger, walk to the pier to watch the ships that will be headed to the United States. With tears in his eyes, Clark cursed his son and afterwards he began to blame God for bad luck he experienced and the family.

Five days later, the tragic news spread throughout Scotland - which was originally a big ship they used the United States drifted toward the sink. Hundreds of people died in the incident.

When Clark heard the news, he hugged his son and thanked him for saving the whole family. He is also grateful to God for saving their lives and change what he thought was a tragedy into a blessing.

Perhaps most of us were not much different from the man in the story above. Cursing and blaming other people or things around us for any inconvenience we experience .. Hopefully with this nice story, we can all realize that it is not possible in this life everything is always fun, it is not possible all that we plan, expect, and desire is always achieved. Can enjoy the pleasure and sadness, happiness and disappointment, success and failure, will make life much more colorful. Borrowing a phrase one of my best friend in a social networking site: If the rain like a failure, and the bright sunlight like a success, often need both to see the beautiful rainbow.
